Nutmeg Web Services is now offering regularly scheduled instruction for Joomla!, our most popular Content Management System (CMS).
Our hands-on courses help you get up-to-speed maintaining your web pages. Class sizes are limited to insure everyone gets individualized instruction. Bring your own laptop (wireless capability required) or work on one our computers. Classes are held on the third Thursday of the month at our office.
Current course offerings include the following:
Introduction to Content Management Systems and Joomla
February 21: Learn what Content Management Systems (CMS) are all about and get an overview of the Joomla CMS.
Creating and Editing Content in Joomla
March 18: In this hands-on workshop, learn how to edit and create your own web pages. Bring your own content to post online to your website, or use our sample pages.
Working with Images
April 15: Learn the tricks and tips for posting pictures on your website. Topics discussed include:
- How images can be used
- Preparing images
- Uploading images
- Methods for incorporating pictures into web pages
Menus, Modules and Mayhem
May: Explore more advanced concepts such as managing the menu system, working with modules, components and plugins and more.
